SEGA has released a story trailer for Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, showcasing the fantastic art that’ll be featured in the game and introducing the characters in the game’s narrative.

In the trailer, we’re introduced to Joe Musashi, the protagonist, and his tragic beginnings, as he loses his village and is cursed by the Oboro Clan. He becomes obsessed with revenge and hunting down those who were responsible for burning down his village.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance will be released on August 29 for PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PC.
