The remakes of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green are coming to Nintendo Switch next week, in time for celebrating all things Pokémon Day, which is February 28.
Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen were released as remakes of the classic Game Boy games for the GBA, and are fan favourite versions of these classics that added a bunch of new details, story and visual upgrades, including, of course, the addition of colour, which the original Game Boy didn’t have.
If you’re hoping these are remastered versions of the games for the Nintendo Switch, unfortunately, not; they’re just the original GBA games coming to the eShop.
The two games are available for pre-order now, ahead of their release next week, and will cost $30 AUD.
