At Summer Game Fest over the weekend, it was revealed that Australian developer SMG Studio and LEGO were teaming up with new publisher Fictions to work on LEGO Party!

Taking the party genre that the Mario games have become the standard for and adding a LEGO twist to it, this new game looks to have all the humour and personality that LEGO games are known for.

You’ll be able to play LEGO Party! solo, with friends on the couch or online with cross-platform multiplayer. Players will be able to customise the mini-fig they’re playing with, and the game will include popular sets such as LEGO Pirates, LEGO Space, and LEGO Ninjago.

LEGO Party! is set to release later in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
