IO Interactive has officially unveiled their James Bond game 007: First Light, which will star a young James Bond before he even receives his double-O license to kill.
The game will be a story-driven, third-person action-adventure with an original story from the team at IO Interactive; it’s not tied to any of the previous films or based on any particular book. In it, we’ll meet a 26-year-old Bond as a rebellious Royal Navy air crewman who is recruited into MI6 for his instincts and heroism.
Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.

We can’t wait for players and fans to discover an experience tailor-made for them.”
The team at IO Interactive has revealed that some familiar faces will appear in the game, including M, Q, and Moneypenny, but there will also be new characters for whom we’ll have to wait to learn more about.
007: First Light is set to release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2.
