Fall Guys is getting its first major update since launch sometime tomorrow. It includes some minor fixes as well as the addition of a new final episode.

Jump Showdown is a new final level that is a twist on Jump Club. The final level version will have you jumping over the rotating platforms like the Jump Club version, but you’ll now also have to deal with the platforms below you falling away as the round proceeds.

Although Jump Showdown was present in the beta, it was removed before launch. It’ll be nice to see it back in the game.

Mediatonic also listed some changes coming to the game in their first significant patch notes:

  • Lowered the weighting for Royal Fumble to add more final round variation

  • Fixed crash at launch with certain regional calendars set in the operating system

  • Improved messaging for matchmaking and server errors

  • Fixed physics behaving erratically at high framerate on levels like Tip Toe

  • Fixed crown in Fall Mountain not being grabbable in rare situations.

  • Addressed some collisions in Block Party allowing players to bypass the blocks

  • Fixed Parties sometimes failing due to too many requests

  • Addressed some special characters causing display issues in player names

  • Fixed Big Tease Achievement not unlocking in specific regions

  • PC only – Fixed certain game controller models not being detected on PC

More levels, costumes and features are also being teased to be joining the Fall Guys experience very soon.
