The 2018 sci-fi horror film directed, written, and starring John Krasinski has announced a spin-off video game overnight.
A tweet from the new Twitter account @AQuietPlaceGame has announced the game and indicated that the game would be an ‘untold’ story of survival in the ‘Quiet Place Universe,’ as every piece of media with more than a couple of related items is now a universe.

The tweet directs you to a website with scare more details but indicates that Illogika EP1TOME and Saber Interactive are involved in developing the game. The News piece from Epitome’s site indicates that iLLOGIKA is the leading developer, with assistance from EP1TOME, while Saber Interactive is publishing.
Hervé Sliwa, Creative Director at iLLOGIKA, has been quoted as saying:
“The A Quiet Place video game will let fans experience the tension of the films with a level of immersion they’ve never felt before”, as well as being excited to share a “unique vision of hope and horror.”
Illogical has previously released action-puzzle roguelike game Subaeria and boasts having assisted StudioMDHR on Cuphead, among other assists. Whilst this seems to be the first outing for EP1TOME. Saber Interactive have previously released World War Z, and are currently at work on Evil Dead the Game.
More details are currently due out later this year, with the game currently set for a 2022 release date.
