Night City Wire: Episode 1 from CD Projekt Red streamed to fans early Friday morning and with it came a bunch of new information and a trailer for Cyberpunk 2077.
The latest trailer is a massive burst of action and you’d think it shows off a lot of the game, but surprise! It’s apparently all from the prologue of the game. That certainly sets the bar for how action-packed the game is going to be.
The trailer also reveals a new area called ‘The Badlands’ which appears to be the Max Max-like wasteland outside the bustling towers of Night City.
The stream also spent significant time explaining ‘ braindances’ which are basically detective mode inside someone’s brain. You can slow-down events, look for details and presumably you’ll be using this to both move the story-forward at points in the game, but also as a miscellaneous way to discover characters stories.
Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to release on November 19th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. PS4 & Xbox One owners will be able to play their copy of the game on the next-gen consoles and even get a free upgrade to the next-gen version when it releases in 2021.
