It’s been over ten years since the release of Alien: Isolation, and now Creative Assembly and SEGA have announced the long-awaited follow-up.

Alien: Isolation 2 was announced during Summer Game Fest 2026 last week and, of course, teased some Xenomorph scares in a new survival horror game, but details are a little scarce for the time being.

Check out the reveal trailer below.

In this new game, it’ll take place on a planet’s surface, exploring a remote colony battered by storms. You’ll be playing as a new protagonist in this game, but we’re yet to learn more about them.

Creative Director Al Hope said:

“Our dedicated Survival team at Creative Assembly has been working hard to create a new, evolved Isolation experience continuing the legacy of the Alien franchise, making the eponymous killer smarter, the environment harsher and the chance of survival slimmer.”
