Similar to how PlayStation Plus games work currently, once you redeem a PlayStation Plus Collection game it’s yours to keep and play for as long you’re a subscriber to the service. Although it seems the PlayStation Plus Collection isn’t going to expire at any point, and Sony has no current plans to add more games to the collection.
The games in the collection will see improved benefits on PS5 including increased loading speeds and improved frame-rates. Just how good these benefits are, we are yet to see, but some of those features could be gamechanger for games such as Bloodborne, Days Gone, God of War, Infamous: Second Son, Until Dawn, Batman, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and Monster Hunter.
Of course, it’s not just the games apart of the collection that will receive the PS5 Game Boost. Sony has said it’s worked hard to on over 100 of the most-played PS4 games to make sure they play even better on your PlayStation 5 console.
The PlayStation Plus Collection is just one added bonus for subscribers alongside the recently revealed game help feature that was revealed in the PS5 UI Showcase and all the benefits PS4 subscribers are used to with PS Plus including cloud saves and monthly free games.
