Exoprimal is the new game featuring a crisis and dinosaurs from Capcom. This game is not exclusive to PlayStation and comes to all platforms except the Nintendo Switch. 

Whilst the trailer does indicate that this game is a team-based affair, what I certainly didn’t pick was that this game is a sort of PvPvE game. 

See this quote from the website: 

“Dino Survival, the main game mode, sees two teams of five players compete in a variety of PvE and PvP missions. Players will be transported to the scene of the latest dinosaur outbreak and follow Leviathan’s guidance to complete objectives. The team that completes the mission first will emerge victorious.

The website also describes that we are looking at the holy trinity of class roles, Assault, Tanks and Support, which are chosen through the different Exosuits. They can also be changed at any time, including in the middle of a mission. The website also lists 4 current exosuits, 2 Assault, 1 tank and 1 support. 

Capcom has also posted a Developer Overview interview with Producer Ichiro Kiyokawa, who promises action “that is typical of Capcom games” and director Takuro Hiraoka. The interview does have some different gameplay scenes that show off some different dinosaurs, as well as mentioning a story mode, which I have interpreted to be separate from the above mentioned Dino Survival mode
