Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced that what was once known as the “Bravia Core App” is returning to Sony consoles as Sony Pictures Core. This new app will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 devices and let consumers stream movies and TV shows.
Sign-up is free, and the service lets you rent or buy over 2000 movies currently, like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Uncharted, The Equalizer, No Hard Feelings, Bullet Train, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, among others.
You can currently rent or purchase Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story, and for a limited time, your purchase will boost in-game credits inside Gran Turismo 7.
Here is the launch library of movies you can stream for free on Sony Pictures Core if you have an active PlayStation Plus Deluxe subscription.
