Xbox held a new type of showcase this morning, titled the ‘Xbox Partner Showcase,’ it was nothing but thirty minutes of back-to-back trailers from third-party partners.

Kicking off with a wild trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and ending the show with an intense launch trailer and gameplay clip from Alan Wake 2, this was a well-paced show with a mix of genres and types of games. And Xbox managed to sneak in two new game reveals with Ikaro Will Not Die and Spirit of the Nort2

Here’s all the news and trailer from the Xbox Partner Showcase.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Even the Yakuza deserve a break, and in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, you can visit DonDok Island and, as a “side activity”, play a farming/social sim that looks so feature-full I’m confused as to just how big this part of the game is as there is exploration, building, resource management and building relationships with the people on the island.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will be released on January 26, 2024, for Xbox, PC and PlayStation.

Ikaro Will Not Die

Here’s a new game reveal from FutureLab, the developer behind Velocity 2X and recent VR games like Tiny Trax. This new game, Ikaro Will Not Die, looks to be going back to the team’s lightning-paced earlier games, however, but in third-person.

Still Wakes The Deep

The latest horror game from The Chinese Room looks very creepy in a short gameplay trailer that wasn’t great to watch at 4 AM with headphones on, but that’s just because the audio design was so eerie with a voice whispering in the background. There’s a supernatural creature of some sort on this oil rig, and it doesn’t sound like it’s a nice one at all.

Still Wakes in the Deep will be released in 2024 for Xbox.

Robocop: Rogue City

A new trailer for Robocop: Rogue City shows the explosive combat you’ll get into in the game.

Robotcop: Rogue City will be released on November 2 for Xbox, PC and PlayStation.

The Dungeons of Hinterberg

In this new trailer for The Dungeons of Hinterberg, there’s some combat, but the focus is on the social parts of the game and how building relationships with people in the town is important to unlocking abilities and skills. As you grow your relationships, you’ll become acquaintances and then higher, which will unlock things like photo mode or increase your combat skill in things like improving your MP and health.

The Dungeons of Hinterbeg will be released in 2024 for Xbox and PC.

Spirit of the North 2

A surprise sequel to Spirt of the North was revealed during the Xbox Partner Showcase, and the game, from developer Infuse Studio, looks beautiful in its first trailer. Not much is known, but based on the trailer, it looks like, in Spirit of the North 2, you’ll be playing as a new fox, joined by a bird companion.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

In a new trailer, the game looks fantastic with thick and detailed environments from grass to forests you’ll be creeping around as Snake. This looks like a stunning remake that is running in Unreal Engine 5.

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is coming to Xbox, PC and PlayStation.

Manor Lords

A trailer for Manor Lords gave a gameplay overview of what it is like to build your medieval town and then fight your neighbours or defend your town from would-be attackers. The game also got a release date and will launch in Game Preview next year, with a console release also revealed to be coming sometime later.

Manor Lords will launch in Game Preview for Windows and PC Game Games on April 26, 2024.

The Finals

An action-packed trailer for Embark Studios’ upcoming multiplayer, team-based competitive shooter, The Finals, showcased the incredible-looking game and the destruction physics in the game.

A closed beta of The Finals is kicking off on Xbox on October 26.

Ark: Survival Ascended

Dinosaurs have levelled up in Ark: Survival Ascended, the highly anticipated remake, which had fans spamming “ASA” over and over in this entire showcase on the YouTube chat. The game looks great and is definitely a next-generation step-up for the game, as it looks fantastic running in Unreal Engine 5.

Alan Wake 2

The launch trailer for Alan Wake 2 is creepy enough, but it was followed up with a new gameplay video focusing on Saga Anderson taking on a very hard-to-kill hotel guest with two bodies.

That’s all the trailers and news from the Xbox Partner Preview. If you’d like to watch the show in full, you can check out the video below.
