At the ridiculous time of 3 AM AEST this morning, the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022 went down. Xbox promised that everything in the showcase would be released within the next 12 months and this led to some things being missed from the showcase like Hellblade 2, but we did see Redfall, Starfield, Scorn, Forza and more.

All the trailers and news from the event are below for you to check out.

Redfall

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

Vampires, cultists trying to become a vampire and a group of survivors are stuck on an island together. A hefty gameplay trailer showed off the vampire-slaying of the four survivors you can play either solo or with a group of friends. The combination of guns, powers and equipment looked hectic.

A new rat trailer for the sequel to A Plague Tale, but no release date yet.

Forza Motorsport 7

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

A new trailer was shown, which was nice, but getting a gameplay trailer afterwards showcased the sim aspects of the latest Forza title and the amount of detail going into the roads on the tracks to the car themselves.

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

The game didn’t have a solid release date but is coming in Autumn next year.

Microsoft Flight Simulator – 40th Anniversary

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

Next year Microsoft Flight Simulator is getting helicopters, gliders and more for its 40th Anniversary.

Halo crosses over with Microsoft Flight Simulator right now as well, with the ability to take flight in a Pelican.

Overwatch 2

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

Overwatch 2 is releasing on October 4th, and the PVP will be free to play. And we got a look at a brand new hero, which sounded like an Australian gladiator fighter named Junker Queen.

Ara: History Untold

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

I’m not sure what this one was, but it sounded like a historical RTS.

The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle

“>

The latest expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online is releasing next week on June 21st, and it takes place in a brand new location.

In a crossover that couldn’t have been predicted, it’s Forza x Hot Wheels in the first significant expansion for Forza Horizon 5, and it’s releasing on July 19.

Ark 2

A wild trailer for Scorn, and it’s releasing on October 21, 2022.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

This looked like a third-person action game, and it’s about taking down gods and launching in early 2023.

“>

An action-strategy game. It’s releasing in 2023.

“>

Already out on PC, Gunfire Reborn is releasing in October 2022 for Xbox.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

The Last Case of Benedict Fox looks like a Lovecraft-inspired Metroidvania with a unique art direction, and it’s releasing next year.

As Dusk Falls

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

I don’t quite understand how As Dusk Falls works, but it’s a narrative game where every decision you make seems like it matters. More interestingly, you can play with up to eight other players, where it seems their choices would also affect the game. As Dusk Falls is releasing on July 19.

Nakara Bladepoint

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

After a few betas, the game is releasing on June 23 and cross-play.

“>

Obsidian Games is also releasing Grounded with all the updates and a complete story that the early access period has helped hone over the last couple of years.

Ereban: Shadow Legacy

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

Ereban: Shadow Legacy looked like a fast-paced stealth game, which is the opposite of what you’d usually get from that genre. No solid release date, but the game is releasing in 2023.

Diablo IV

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

Blizzard revealed a necromancer class for Diablo IV alongside an extensive look at the game, including world bosses, end-game content and more. The game will be released in 2023.

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

Wo Long: Fallen Destiny

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

Team Ninja is bringing their next game to Xbox Game Pass.

Persona

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

Persona 3 PortablePersona 4: Golden and Persona 5: Royal are all coming to Xbox for the first time, and of course, they’re all on Xbox Game Pass. Persona 5 Royal will be the first to release on October 21, with the rest to follow.

Hideo Kojima

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

Kojima Productions is teaming up with Xbox Game Studios for an exclusive game.

Starfield

<div class="sqs-video-wrapper" data-provider-name="YouTube" data-html="

“>

In the first gameplay of Starfield ever showcased, Bethesda’s Todd Howard walked through the world, customisation and just how big Starfield is going to be upon release—kicking things off with the player arriving on the planet Kreet early in the game, shooting out with some pirates, before travelling to the Capital City, New Atlantis and speaking to some companions. We then looked at character customisation and how deep you can customise your ship, which is indeed flyable. There are also over 1000 planets to explore in Starfield, which sounds absolutely insane.

And with that journey to space and our first look at Starfield things wrapped up for the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022. If you want to watch it in full, check out the video below.
