Apple TV has released a new trailer for the second season of Dark Matter
Apple TV has released a new trailer for the second season of Dark Matter, confirming the sci-fi thriller will return on August 28th.
Based on Blake Crouch’s bestselling novel, the series stars Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly, with the second season picking up after the events of the first as the Dessen family once again finds itself caught in the dangers of the multiverse.

Returning cast members include Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi, Oakes Fegley and Amanda Brugel. Blake Crouch returns as creator, showrunner and executive producer.
Apple also announced Dark Matter: The Official Podcast, hosted by Crouch and executive producer Jacquelyn Ben-Zekry. New episodes will be released alongside each episode of the season, featuring cast members and creators discussing the series’ story, science, and production.
Season 2 of Dark Matter premieres on August 28th, with new episodes releasing weekly through October 30th.
