One of Apple TV’s original shows, which helped launch Apple’s streaming service, Morning Wars, has announced it will end, with its fifth and final season set to arrive in 2027.
Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon will both return as stars and executive producers for the final season, alongside Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm. New cast members include Jeff Daniels, Reneé Rapp, Jesse Williams, Sean Hayes and Lizzy Caplan.
Speaking about the announcement, Aniston said the team was able to craft the ending they wanted knowing the fifth season would be the show’s last.
“Going in knowing it would be our last, we were so fortunate to craft the conclusion with intentionality, and honour these characters the way they deserve.”
Witherspoon added that producing and starring in Morning Wars had been “the honour of a lifetime.”
