Let’s look at the Australian Box Office results from Thu 3rd October 2024 – Wed 9th October 2024.

The follow-up to the mega-successful Joker debuted in cinemas this week to very mixed reviews, and it looks like the Australian Box Office has spoken with Joker: Folie à Deux taking in just over $5M in its opening week.

On the other end of the spectrum, The Wild Robot has taken in over $3M this past weekend, pushing it to $12.2M. With the school holidays still in effect in most places, the film could pass $15M next week. However, Transformers One is falling shy of $7M, which is a bit sad to see, as marketing has let this film down.
