[UPDATE: Big W at 10 AM this morning announced that the PS5’s would no be going on sale today. The AustraliaPS5 account believes they could still go on sale tomorrow, however, or at least soon.]

Get your cart-and-checkout fingers at the ready as it appears Big W will have a large amount of PS5’s available to purchase this morning.
Twitter account AustraliaPS5 originally shared this information a couple of days ago, and somehow scalpers managed to purchase many PS5’s that weren’t publicly available yet. Big W is reportedly cancelling all of those orders.
The Twitter account states there will be 2000 PS5’s available that is the disc version; they’re not sure of any all-digital PS5’s. The account also predicts that they should drop online around 9:30 AM AEST.

It’ll be worth checking out Amazon around that same time in case they restock as well.
Keep your eyes out for any other retailers that may have received a restock tomorrow as well. Although I’ve seen no reports from anyone of any particular site, these things often come in waves.
2000 PS5’s is nothing to laugh at, however, so if they are going live this morning, I expect it to be all hell trying to get one, and I wish you luck if you’re refreshing like mad between 9:30 AM-10 AM in hopes of securing one.
