The series stars Justin Theroux as Allie Fox, an idealistic but increasingly unstable inventor and radical thinker, with Melissa George as his wife Margot, and their teenage daughter and young son rounding out the central Fox family.
The Mosquito Coast – Series 2
Season 2 picks up after the Fox family narrowly escapes Mexico and sees them venturing deep into the Guatemalan jungle to reconnect with an old friend and the community of refugees she leads. While this new settlement initially offers hope of safety and stability, the family soon finds itself drawn into conflict with a powerful local drug lord and his family. As tensions rise, Allie and Margot Fox disagree on how best to secure their family’s future – whether to settle down or keep moving – forcing each onto a divergent path.
