Always so many Blu-rays and DVDs to get excited about, but October, like with so many other things, will see several horror releases, among other things to get excited about.
For fans of Steelbooks, several major 2025 releases are scheduled to arrive in October, including F1, Superman, and 28 Years Later. All of which are, of course, also getting 4K discs and regular Blu-ray releases as well and are among some of the big releases of the year, making their way to home releases in October. Other films making their way home this month are From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, Jurassic World: Rebirth and the live-action adaptation of How to Train a Dragon.
Some other highlights for the month include the Jurassic Park/World films that haven’t got a 4K disc yet, getting one, a Wolf Creek 4K limited edition release from Imprint, Black Phone coming to 4K ahead of the sequel, and a 15th Anniversary Limited Edition release for Studio Ghibli’s Arrietty.
