At Summer Game Fest, Jason Blum and Louise Blain took to the stage to reveal the initial six games that will be part of Blumhouse’s video game publishing arm.

Speaking on stage about the publishing arm, Jason Blum said that they plan to find independent creators and:

“encourage these creators to be weird and subversive and find the most fed up scariest things they can and put them into really cool games.”

Here are the six games that were revealed and some more information on them.

Fear the Spotlight (Cozy Game Pals)

Fear the Spotlight is a creepy love letter to classic 90s horror experiences with a focus on rich storytelling, puzzle solving, and a tense atmosphere. This is a perfect narrative horror game for those new to the genre. Fear the Spotlight is developed by Cozy Game Pals and published by Blumhouse Games.

Fear the Spotlight will be released later this year.

Crisol: Theater of Idols (Vermila Studios)

What would you do if your blood were your only weapon? How much would you sacrifice your life? Experience the unholy island of Tormentosa in this twisted first-person adventure full of horror and action where only your blood can be used to defeat the impious creatures that roam therein.

Crisol: Theater of Idols is currently in development.

What happens when you blend an unnatural serial killer with a idyllic, isolated mountain town? Grave Seasons is a supernatural murder-mystery farming simulator. Play as the new farmer in Ashenridge as you harvest crops, fish and mine, meet and romance townsfolk, build up the community… and maybe stop the murders.

The untitled game, currently known as ‘Project C’, is currently in development.

Sleep Awake (Eyes Out)

From Cory Davis (Spec Ops: The Line) and Robin Finch (Nine Inch Nails) comes a first-person psychedelic horror set in the far future. In the last known city on Earth, people are disappearing in their sleep. Those who remain exist in a crisis of reckless experiments to keep awake. Katie must navigate depraved death cults, otherworldly forces, and the ever-present horror of The HUSH, to save herself and those who rely upon her.

Sleep Awake is currently in development.

The Simulation (PlayMeStudio)

A never-before-seen horror game is the only evidence found at a crime scene. As a retired game designer hired to investigate the case, you find a hidden mode that plunges you into a rabbit hole of the unknown. As more obscure games are uncovered, cross the fourth wall of their worlds and investigate terrifying truths that transcend their own reality.

The Simulation is currently in development.
