Borderlands 4 will release on September 23

Borderlands 4 received a new trailer alongside a launch date this morning during the State of Play.

The trailer below features big guns, big explosions, lots of shooting, and everything that fans are after in Borderlands games, this time taking place on the planet Kairos with double-jumps, grappling, and more to make the movement feel faster than before.

Borderlands 4 will be released on September 23, 2025. More information will come later in the year, with a dedicated PlayStation State of Play focused on the game.
