Chance To Finish ‘Pokémon GO’ Kanto Pokédex In September

You’ll have a chance to complete your Kanto region Pokédex as region-specific Pokémon make their way into Eggs and legendary Pokémon, including Mewtwo, appear in Raids through to October.

The event kicks off at 6:00 AM AEST on Friday, September 14, when the legendary birds—Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres—will be appearing in Raids, with a chance to catch their shiny forms until September 20.

All Kanto region Pokémon will also be showing up more frequently around the world, including in Raid Battles, until September 30.

Region-specific Pokémon you previously couldn’t get will be obtainable via Eggs received from Gifts: Alolan forms of Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Tauros will appear in Eggs until the end of September.

The big Raid boss is Mewtwo, who will be available in Raid Battles from September 20 until October 23. Previously, Mewtwo was only accessible via EX Raid invitations, so this is a great chance for all players to catch one.

Get ready to go Pokémon GO crazy and try to fill out those hardest-to-catch entries throughout September.
