Coming to Netflix on June 17th, Spiderhead is a bit less action-packed than Top Gun: Maverick, though it looks to feature just as beautiful photography.
The film stars Chris Hemsworth as the brilliant visionary behind the Spiderhead facility. He administers mind-altering drugs to inmates in exchange for commuted sentences. At the same time, the inmates also benefit from staying at a place that doesn’t look or feel like a jail—Miles Teller co-stars along with Jurnee Smollett, Mark Paguio and Tess Haubrich. Based upon the short story by George Saunders, the script is written by Deadpool and Zombieland scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
