Melbourne-based developer Parasol Corp revealed during Frosty Games Fest last week that Cozy Game Restoration will launch on Steam this September.
Cozy Game Restoration is a restoration simulator in which you bring old video game cartridges back to life by carefully cleaning, repairing, and giving them the love they need to look shiny and new again.

Each cartridge in the game is procedurally generated with different conditions and imperfections, so no two restorations are going to feel exactly alike.
The game will also feature cartridges inspired by real-world indie games. The first confirmed collaboration is with Abiotic Factor from Australian developer Deep Field Games.
“Cozy Game Restoration is a love letter to the games that were with us growing up and the moments we experienced around them with friends and family,” said founder Adam Stormhardt.
Cozy Game Restoration launches on Steam on September 24, 2026, with a demo available now to check out the game early.
