Danganronpa 2×2 Switch 2 Physical Release Changes To Game-Key Card

Spike Chunsoft has announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Danganronpa 2×2 will now use a game key card for its worldwide physical release.

The publisher says it decided after “careful consideration,” but hasn’t provided further details on why the physical release has changed.

The change affects only the Nintendo Switch 2 version, with releases and pre-orders on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC unaffected.

If you pre-ordered the Nintendo Switch special edition, Psycho Tropical Vacation Package, through the Spike Chunsoft US store, you’ll receive a refund and can place a pre-order for the game-key-only version. However, orders through the UK and European stores will remain active and will now ship with a game key card.

Pre-orders through other retailers will also remain active, including both the Standard Edition and Psycho Tropical Vacation Package, but you will receive the game-key card version.
