Jurassic Park is scary. The sequels less so. But the majority of video games with dino’s in them seem the focus on the big, bold and loud over the scary and tense moments that a lot of us love from everyone’s favourite dinosaur movie.
The U.K based developer Jaw Drop Games is looking to change that with Deathground. A survival horror game that you can play by yourself or in co-op with two other players. Sneak past deadly Velociraptor’s and attempt not to be seen by the giant T-Rex as you enter the ‘Deathground’ to retrieve loot and then try and extract with your life.

The game has been self-funder to reach the Alpha stage but now Jaw Drop Games have set-up a Kickstarter in an attempt to reach the next stage of development.
“We’ve been building the foundations of the game for over 6 months now and have been carefully planning our production pipeline and creative strategy,” said Dan Da Rocha, co-founder of Jaw Drop Games. “We’ve come to Kickstarter because we’re confident there’s an audience out there for this type of game and we’d love for the community to help shape the game experience, so together, we can create something incredible”
Deathground is being developed primarily for PC at the moment but the team would hope to bring it to consoles in the future as well.
