It’s Volvy’s 15th Birthday, and the team at Devolver Digital chose to celebrate it in style with one of their weirdest Devolver Directs yet. And that’s saying something!
This year’s 20-minute direct featured six games centred around the story of a Devolver Digital superfan who kidnapped the real Volvy and is keeping him in his attic.
Anyway, video game news!
Cult of the Lamb
Australian super-game Cult of the Lamb is getting local co-op. The ‘Unholy Alliance’ update, which will be released and arrive on all platforms where you can find Culf the Lamb on August 11, will add the ability for friends to play together—one as sheep, the other as the goat.
The Crush House
It looks like you’ll be getting control of a reality TV-inspired house in The Crush House. It’s releasing on August 9, but there’s a demo out now to find out more.
Tenjutsu
This comes from the designer of Dead Cells and looks to be a new take on rogue-like. As you move around the city, you’ll be able to choose what sort of shops you find. The pixel art looks great, and hopefully, the 90s-inspired anime scenes seen in this trailer are in the game.
The Talos Principle 2
A three-part DLC is releasing on June 14 with ‘Road to Elysium.’
Anger Foot
Anger Foot got a brand new banger of a trailer showing off all the footwear featured in the game.
Anger Foot will be released on July 11 for PC.
Possessor(s)
A new fast-paced side-scrolling game from developer Heart Machine, who also made Hyper Light Drift and Solar Ash, will be released in 2025.
Volvy E-Pet
Devolver had hidden a link to the ‘Virtual Volvy-E’ digital e-pet game on their website as one last trick and game from this year’s Devolver Direct. Download it here if you dare.
