This morning, Digimon Story: Time Stranger, a brand new game in the Digimon Story series, was revealed. It’s set to release later in 2025, with the last game in the series being 2018’s Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth.

In this new game, players will be able to travel between the Digital World of Digimon as well as the human world. That’s the actual world of Digimon for the first time, not to be confused with the cyberspace in Cyber Sleuth. As in previous games, you’ll be collecting, evolving and growing bonds with your Digimon, but this is by far the best-looking world. The Digimon running behind the player character in the trailer below looks amazing, and the environment seen is much more vibrant and more interesting than that of the digital space you spent a lot of your time in when playing Cyber Sleuth.
