Disney Lorcana, the upcoming card game developer Ravensburger is set to release in August with Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter, but with the latest news, we’re still left asking, when will Disney Lorcana be released in Australia? We’ve reached out to Ravensburger and hope to find out.

IGN has reported that game stores in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France will launch on August 18, with general stores to follow on September 1. 

If you want to get in even earlier, those heading to Gen Con in Indianapolis from August 3 to 6th will be able to get their hands on Disney Lorcana products. 

Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter will launch with 200 cards across different products. At launch, you will be able to get your hands on starts decks, booster packs and a gift pack, which will be similar to a Magic: The Gathering gift box or an Elite Trainer Box for Pokemon: The Trading Card Game fans. The Illumneer’s Trove will also be available, which includes eight booster packs, two deck boxes, a player’s guide, and a themed storage box. 

Each booster contains twelve randomized cards:

• 6 common cards

• 3 uncommon cards

• 2 rare, super rare, or legendary cards

• 1 foil card

Gift sets include:

• 2 oversized foil cards

• 2 playable foil cards

• 34 game tokens

• 4 booster packs of 12 additional game cards each

The Illumineer’s Trove includes:

• 1 storage box

• 2 deck boxes

• 8 booster packs

• 15 game tokens

• 1 player’s guide

Each starter deck includes:

• 1 starter deck of 60 cards, including 2 foil cards of the characters on the package front

• 11 game tokens

• 1 rulebook

• 1 booster pack containing 12 randomized cards

We’re also yet to get an explanation of the rules of the game, which is sure to come soon with the August release. This didn’t stop the D23 cards released last year from selling for thousands online.
