Disney has finally revealed when Australia and New Zealand will get access to the upcoming streaming service, Disney Plus.
Surprisingly, it’s not too far behind the U.S’s initial launch.
Australia and New Zealand will see Disney Plus launch on November 19th, just a week after the initial launch on November 12th in the U.S.
In Australia, it’ll be priced at $8.99 a month, or $89.99 a year. And in New Zealand, it’ll cost you $9.99 a month, or $99.99 a year.
Comparatively an HD subscription service to Netflix in Australia costs $13.99 a month — $17.99 a month if you’re paying for 4K — Stan costs $10 a month and Amazon Prime sets you back $6.99 a month.
With an aggressive price of $8.99 a month in Australia and some of the most sort-after movies across Pixar to the Marvel catalogue it sure seems Disney Plus is about to shake up the streaming market later this year.
