Pixar and Disney have released the first trailer and poster for Turning Red tonight, which will release in early 2022.
Check out the teaser trailer for Turning Red below, which lays out a relatively simple core premise for the film.
Here’s the official description for Turning Red:
“Young actress Rosalie Chiang lends her voice to Mei Lee, a 13-year-old who suddenly “poofs” into a giant red panda when she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS). Sandra Oh voices Mei Lee’s protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, who is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager.”
Turning Red is the first feature from director Domee Shi who won an Oscar for the 2018 short film Bao. You can stream Bao on Disney+ here.
