Dreams developer Media Molecule has revealed two ‘Mm Origianls’ that’ll be coming to Dreams very soon.

The announcement comes out of DreamsCom21, which kicked off early this morning. This is the second year Media Molecule has held a virtual Dreams convention, and it’s bigger than ever.

TREN is the first Mm Original coming to Dreams soon from Media Molecule lead designer John Beech. In TREN, you build a train track and complete missions, including uncomplicated deliveries or speed-based objectives. Beech himself describes it as an “escape room with trains.” Although as you see later in the gameplay video below, you also get to drive helicopters.

The second Mm Original is titled Ancient Dangers: A Bat’s Tale, and it’s a third-person action, fantasy brawler. You play solo or team up in a local co-op to be the ultimate heroes. There will also be a more challenging difficulty mode where you only have three lives for those wanting a bit more of a challenge from their Mm Originals. The lead designer of Ancient Dangers: A Bat’s Tale is Richard Franke, who’s primarily worked on creating the kits that have been released into Dreams to help inspire players creations. There will be a kit releasing later this year that will coincide with the release of Ancient Dangers: A Bat’s Tale.
