Another E3 is upon us which means it is time for the 3rd Annual E3 predictions. On episode 30 of Arcade Couch Dylan, Ashley and Ciaran provided their unique predictions for this year’s E3.

Listed below are their Ubisoft E3 predictions, things that they think will happen at Ubisoft’s E3 Conference. Let us know who you think is on the money and who is way off in the comments below, or sound off on Twitter.

Ciaran’s Predictions

1. No Sam Fisher or Asassin’s Creed Announcements

Dylan: You’ll lose if they announce DLC.

Ciaran: I will, but I don’t think they will announce DLC.

Dylan: Or Sam Fisher is DLC for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Ashley: Sam Fisher is a downloadable skin or character in Rainbox Six: Siege.

Dylan: That would fuck you too.

2. A new Mario + Rabbids Game is announced

Dylan: It seems like a possibility.

Ciaran: It’s been two years.

Dylan: Yeah, they had to do that Starlink thing.

Ciaran: Exactly, that Starlink thing. So I think there will be a new Mario + Rabbids game. It might not be an RTS, it might be something completely different but it will be there

3. Far Cry 6 is announced

Ciaran: I feel like this is pretty obvious.

Dylan: Is it though?

Ashley: It’s only been two years.

Dylan: I feel like they shit one out every six months.

Ciaran: They shit one out at what feels like every two years. They do a year of the numbered Far Cry and the following year they bring out the random spin-off with the same engine and then they do another one. So I feel like they did that New Dawn Rage 2 impersonation.

Dylan: That was only announced at the Game Awards, let’s not forget. That was announced then and then released early this year. It wasn’t announced at E3 last year.

Ciaran: It’s going to have a release date or anything. Now you’ve made me second guess myself. I’m just going to commit to it. Far Cry 6!

Dylan’s Predictions

1. Watch Dogs 3 is announced

Dylan: I would presume it comes out late this year or is a 2020 release. Watch Dogs 3, it’s about time. Ubisoft for the foreseeable future is going to be more careful with their franchises and what they’re doing and how they’re releasing them. Assassin’s Creed, I don’t think we’re going to hear about the next one for a while because they literally just started announcing and releasing all these big DLCs for Odyssey. They are spacing out the Assassin’s Creeds a lot more so what do they have coming up? I’m saying it’s going to be Watch Dogs 3.

2. There will be a Splinter Cell teaser trailer

Dylan: I will counter your prediction Ciaran.

Ciaran: Going head to head.

Dylan: So one of us is right. One of us is.

Ciaran: I honestly hope you’re right. I 100% hope you’re right but I am past the years of hoping that Sam Fisher is going to rock up at one of these goddamn conferences

Dylan: We had this whole twitter thing happen that me and Ashley discussed on Arcade Couch with all these developers joking that they’re revealing one at E3. We all rubbed it off and said “nah, of course they’re not, that’s all a big joke”. But when I was trying to write down my predictions I was like “maybe it was mind games”. Now I’ve talked myself into believing. I don’t reckon they’re going to show a full on trailer or gameplay or anything like that, a title even. It will just be one of those teasers that tells you that there is a game that is in production.

3. A new Nintendo collaboration is unveiled

Dylan: Not Rabbids 2. Not a sequel to Starlink. None of that, a new collab between Ubisoft and Nintendo.

Ciaran: Like Metroid? Ubisoft‘s developing Metroid?

Dylan: No, that would be ridiculous. That would be like saying they are going to remake GTA IV.

Ashley’s Predictions

1. Beyond Good and Evil 2 release window revealed

Dylan: I had down Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer.

Ciaran: I had separate multiplayer and single player trailers.

Dylan: I will take any of anything any of us has said! I will take any of it. That is my favourite moment from us recording live reacts to conferences to stuff, the Beyond Good and Evil stuff. It got me excited.

2. A new Prince of Persia game is revealed

Ashley: I’m just going to say a new Prince of Persia game is coming

Dylan: No release window?

Ashley: No.

Ciaran: Fucking nothing.

Dylan: New Prince of Persia. It’s a possibility. It’s possible.

3. Just Dance VR is revealed

Dylan: I thought you were just going to say there is going to be Just Dance and that is such an easy point at this stage. It is just low balling, so low that you are licking the ground.

Ashley: It was either this or no Just Dance at all. But I think this year is Just Dance VR.

Dylan: I could see it because Ubisoft has been stepping into the VR world with some releases.

Ashley: There is a big enough market for them to get into it.

Dylan: And at some stage they have to stop releasing Just Dance for the Wii. Eventually that has to stop, right?

Ashley: No that doesn’t have to stop.
