EA Brings 25 Classic PC Games To Steam, Including Road Rash And Wing Commander Anniversary Editions

EA is bringing 25 classic PC games to Steam on November 6, including newly restored Anniversary Editions of Road Rash and six games from the Wing Commander franchise.

This new collection also includes 18 additional games arriving on Steam for the first time, including games from the Ultima series, Theme Hospital, Crusader and more.

The seven Anniversary Editions have been updated to support modern controls, with performance improvements and quality-of-life changes to fit modern gaming and make them easier to play in 2026. EA has also recovered previously lost master video footage from its archives, restoring more than 1,500 cinematic sequences across the seven games.

The Wing Commander restorations were developed with help from the game’s community, using fan-created modifications into the official releases. Existing digital owners of the affected Wing Commander games on GOG and the EA App will receive the Anniversary Edition upgrades for free.
