Our live-action Ms Frizzle in the live-action Magic School Bus movie has been cast and it’s Elizabeth Banks.
Ms Frizzle was voiced by Lilly Tomlin in the original series which was based upon the Scholastic book series of the same name. In the show, Ms Frizzle takes her students on magical trips that have an educational value as they travel through times, or to certain locations.
The original series ran for 52 episodes between 1994-1997 and returned to Netflix in 2017 with a sequel series titled The Magic School Bus Rides Again.
The live-action movie will apparently be a combination of animation and live-action and produced by Universal Pictures.
