Emma Stone Transforms In The First Trailer For Disney’s Cruella

Emma Stone looks amazing in the first trailer for Cruella.

Out of all of Disney’s upcoming live-action reimaginings, I can safely say that Cruella starring Emma Stone is my most anticipated. The first image released from the film always just looked to have something unique and fresh. Well, the first trailer is here, and I’ll let you judge for yourself, but it certainly does look different.
Check out the full trailer below.
The film stars Emma Stone as the famous Disney and dog-hating villain, Cruella de Vil. This is her origin story, albeit a much more sinister one than you may have been expecting to see. In fact, this interpretation seems to meet somewhere between the original performance in the live-action film from Glenn Close and Margot Robey as Harley Quinn. And I’m all about that, personally. Maybe she won’t become the cruel lady who wants to skin dogs in this version? I can hope.
Let me know what you thought of the trailer in the comments below.
We haven’t had confirmation just yet, but it’d be safe to presume it’ll follow Raya and The Last Dragon’s release plan of Disney+ where it’s not safe for cinemas; in-cinemas in places it can release.
Cruella will release on May 28th, 2021.
