Publisher Binary Haze Interactive which was founded last year by Hiroyuki Kobayashi and developers Live Wire and Adglobe has announced the metroidvania Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights.
The game is described as a “dark fantasy fairy tale” with the story of Ender Lilies focusing on Lily, the last survivor of a country that has been overtaken by a deadly rain which has turned people into undead monsters. When she awakens at the start of the game she has no memories but soon learns she has to ability to summon the spirits of purified undead to protect herself. Through boss battles, you’ll “purify” and recruit the undead and receive insight into their pasts.
