Wizards of the Coast has announced the first two seasons of the Magic: The Gathering Arena esports league tournament. The series of games will begin on August 7th and end with a massive Champion Stage on September 26th. The top prize includes an $800AUD cash prize.
Teaming up with ESL Australia, the tournament is the first massive MTGA tournament in Australia.

Champion Stage – September 26th
Each of the qualifier events will have up to seven rounds of Swiss Stage with a cut to the top eight. MTGA players will earn points from each stage, and those with the most at the end will earn a spot in the Champions Stage event and the big prizes.
