It’s a good month for BritBox exclusive series, with two new ones hitting the service in August, as well as new series to check out.

Fear is a new series that stars Martin Compston as a parent who is pushed to the edge by a neighbour when he moves in with his family. The fourth season of Professor T is another exclusive series this month, starring Ben Miller as the returning Professor Jasper Tempest, a university criminologist with OCD who assists the police in solving crimes.

Helen works with a team of experts from divers to detectorists and magnet fishers to track down all manner of lost items scattered around the lakebeds and forests of this stunning location. They’ll take what they find back to base, either to reunite them with their delighted owners, or to start the process of working out who the items might belong to. To do this, they enlist the help of a specialist social media detective, who will create online campaigns to help reunite owners with their lost possessions. Some of the unclaimed items will be given an extraordinary and sometimes ingenious new lease of life by one of the area’s talented craftspeople too.
