As The Mandalorian: Season 2 continues into November, there’s also some brand new things coming to Disney+ this month. The Right Stuff is wrapping up its first season as well as the 50 episodes of One Day at Disney. The major movie for the month is a new version of Black Beauty, but for those seeking some Christmas cheer early the Star Wars, Christmas Special is back! This time in LEGO form.
Here are some of the highlights, with a full list of everything coming to Disney+ listed at the bottom of this post.
Spread The Word (Disney + Premiere) – 06 November
Boasting over 500,000 words, you’d think the English language covers each and every situation, action or item in existence. Sadly, you’d be wrong. There are many common situations we experience every day that simply have no English words to describe them. Lucky for us Australians, we have hundreds of local Indigenous languages that can come to the rescue! It’s time to tap into these rich languages, find the most useful terms for Australians, and then Spread the Word.
Do you need a word to describe that feeling you get when you’re sick and cranky and just want everyone to leave you alone? In Yugambeh that’s called garu-garulen, and now you can use it every time you’re sick and just want to curl up under your doona by yourself. Ever turned a room upside down looking for something you’ve lost? Yes. You have! And you made a huge mess. In Wiradjuri they have one word for the whole scenario, dirranyamgarra. And how crazy that the Wiradjuri community came up with it thousands of years before your mum and dad could even think about getting cranky about your messy bedroom!
Over this ten-part series Spread the Word shares 10 different Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander words from language groups across the country.

Adapted from Jack London’s beloved literary classic, The Call Of The Wild vividly brings to life the story of a big-hearted dog named Buck, and John Thornton (Harrison Ford), the man Buck must learn to trust. Abruptly uprooted from his pampered lifestyle in sunny California, Buck finds himself in the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon.
As the newest dog on a mail delivery sled team during the turbulent Gold Rush days of the 1890s, Buck has left behind a once comfortable life for one of hardship and survival. Life again changes dramatically for Buck when he meets Thornton, a loner-turned-adventurer, and it’s clear that the two are destined to experience the adventure of a lifetime.
Navigating through an environment that is as unforgiving as it is spectacular, the journey profoundly transforms both man and dog. With its unique blend of intense live action and cutting-edge animation, The Call Of The Wild is a visually stunning experience featuring realistic, emotionally authentic characters.

But will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit?
