We’re all going to be looking forward to the end of October when The Mandalorian returns to Disney+ for a second season, but there’s still much more dropping on the platform.
The second season of the Star Wars spin-off dropped its first trailer last week and there was much for fans to break down. I did as much myself. That’ll begin streaming on October 30th, with new episodes weekly.
Let’s talk about the rest of the month. Here’s what’s coming to Disney+ Australia in October 2020.
Ford V Ferrari (Movie) – October 2nd
The premiere of Ford V Ferrari on streaming services.
Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in Ford v Ferrari, based on the true story of visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby and fearless British-born driver Ken Miles, who together build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.
The Right Stuff (Season 1) – October 9th
October 9th premiere of episode one & two. Episodes release weekly thereafter.

Produced for National Geographic by Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way and Warner Bros. Television, “The Right Stuff” takes a clear-eyed look at America’s first “reality show,” when ambitious astronauts and their families became instant celebrities in a competition of money, fame and immortality.
Clouds (Movie) – October 16th

At the start of his senior year, he is ready to take on the world, however when he receives the news that the disease has spread, he and his best friend and songwriting partner, Sammy (Sabrina Carpenter), decide to spend Zach’s limited time following their dreams. With the help of Zach’s mentor and teacher, Mr. Weaver (Lil Rel Howery), Zach and Sammy are given the chance of a lifetime and are offered a record deal. Along with the support of the love of his life, Amy (Madison Iseman) and his parents, Rob and Laura (Tom Everett Scott and Neve Campbell); Zach embarks on an unforgettable journey about friendship, love and the power of music. Directed by Justin Baldoni, the movie is based on the memoir “Clouds: A Memoir” by Zach’s mother, Laura Sobiech.
