October is the month for scares and what better place to find those scares than Shudder. The streaming service has several new Shudder Originals arriving in time for Halloween alongside some new titles streaming for the first time.

Shudder’s Halloween Hotline (Special Service) — October
If you’re not sure what to watch for Halloween this year you’ll have the opportunity to call Samuel Zimmerman, the head curator at Shudder and ask them what to watch. You can find a highlight of the answers they gave to subscribers last year HERE.
The service will be live every Saturday during October from 5-6 AM AEST, 6-7 AM AEDT and 8-9 AM NDST.

For the second year, Shudder’s head curator, Samuel Zimmerman, will be offering callers live, personalized picks for what to watch every Friday in October. Movie lovers from around the world are invited to call Sam (via a new number to be announced) Fridays from 3-4pm ET, share their mood or taste, and from that information, Sam will use his horror knowledge to select films from Shudder’s vast library for them.
2020’s All-New Ghoul Log (Special) — October 1st
One of Shudder’s most unique services as a streaming platforming is the 24/7 streaming channel. This October it’ll once again be a 24/7 perfect background watch for any social distanced Halloween parties you may be planning. They’re also promising a surprise on October 1st.
Halloween’s answer to the Christmas Yule Log, the Ghoul Log is: a 24/7 streaming jack-o’-lantern (available on demand as al Shudder TV feed ‘round the clock) that offers the perfect ambience for all your Halloween festivities. SCARE ME (MOVIE) — 1 October
Two people get stuck in a cabin together and tell scary stories. A Shudder Original that was an official selection at Sundance 2020.
