Crunchyroll announced a bunch of news and shared trailers at Anime Expo 2026, including a brand-new Solo Levelling movie, a new look at the Ghost of Tsushima Legends anime, and revealing that Nirvana’s “Breed” will be the opening theme for The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy At All.

Solo Levelling: Beyond The System
The biggest announcement of the presentation was that Solo Levelling: Beyond the System is a brand-new anime film set after Season 2.
Ghost Of Tsushima Legends
We got our first look at the characters who will appear in the Ghost of Tsushima Legends series, which Takashi Okazaki is handling.
The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy At All
Dave Grohl appeared to announce that ‘Breed,’ the Nirvana song, will be used as the opening song for The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy At All, the romantic comedy which is set to premiere in early 2027.
Kagurabachi
Following last month’s announcement that Kagurabachi will stream on Crunchyroll in 2027, Anime Expo attendees got an exclusive first look at the character design of protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira.
