Ubisoft has announced that the first expansion for Far Cry 6 will launch on December 6th, and things are going supernatural this time.
In Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds, players will play as Dani Rojas again, but this time exploring a fractured version of Yara. After exploring a meteorite site, Dani is whisked away into this new dimension and meets a “noncorporeal lifeform” named Fai. To find their way back to the real version of Yara, Dani will need to explore and close 15 rifts, each serving up its own challenges. Players who complete Lost Between Worlds will unlock Fai’s powerful gear and can take it back to Yara.
Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds will cost $29.95 or is included as part of Far Cry 6’s ‘Upgrade Pass.’
Update 6 is live now for Far Cry 6, which adds New Game+ and ‘Completionist Aid’ as a way for those seeking to get everything in the game to do it without pulling out their hair.
Ubisoft also announced this morning that they’re working on a six-episode series with Audible that’ll tell the story leading up to the events of Far Cry 6. The Audible series will feature Giancarlo Esposito as Antón Castillo.
If you haven’t played Far Cry 6 yet, a free game trial is coming to all consoles and PC where players will be able to explore the Isla Santuario region, and for those that want to keep playing, will keep their game progression and enjoy discounts on the game, Season Pass and DLC content.
