Finn and Jannah Return in New Star Wars Novel ‘The Last Order’

In preparation for Star Wars returning to the sequel era with the upcoming Star Wars: New Jedi Order film, which will star Daisy Ridley once again as Rey, LucasFilm appears to be setting the stage with the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Order, a book that will star Finn and Jannah in the lead roles.

The book follows the two, played by John Boyega and Naomi Ackie, respectively, in The Rise of Skywalker, an adventure set after the film. In the book, the two rescue a ship full of young passengers whom the First Order kidnapped. The two, both former Stormtroopers, then set out to stop the man responsible for the kidnapping, and throughout the book, they tackle their own past as ex-soldiers.

Kwame Mbalia, the author of the Tristan Strong book series, wrote The Last Order. Collider revealed the book cover, which was created by Jason Wojtowicz and artist Kim Thompson.
