‘Ghost of Tsushima’ Release Date Set For A Month After ‘The Last of Us: Part II’

Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima will release on June 26th, which puts its release barley a month after the release of The Last of Us: Part II.
Over on the PlayStation Blog, Andrew Goldfarb, Communication Manager at Sucker Punch talked about the latest trailer the team at Sucker Punch just released which dives into the world around Jin Sakai and the people he will interact with during his journey.

Goldfarb talks about the two key characters we see in this trailer:
“The first is Jin’s uncle, Shimura, the jito (lord) of Tsushima and a father figure to Jin. He’s trained Jin since childhood in the traditional ways of the samurai, and grows increasingly concerned by the tactics Jin starts to adopt as he abandons his teachings and becomes The Ghost. The second important character we’re highlighting today is Khotun Khan. The Khan is the leader of the invading Mongol army and a ruthless, cunning enemy who uses everything he knows about the samurai to try to destroy them. He’s a brutal, unrelenting adversary that Jin will quickly learn not to underestimate.”
Alongside this amazing trailer in English, there was a Japanese version release which is worth watching, because as with past trailers, it just seems the best way to play for an authentic experience.
There was also the reveal of a Special Edition of the game as well as a Collectors Edition.
