Girls Revival Announced By HBO With Lena Dunham And Original Cast Returning

HBO is bringing back Girls as a five-episode limited series, with creator Lena Dunham returning alongside several original cast members.

Production is scheduled to begin in 2027, marking ten years since the comedy concluded its sixth and final season in 2017.

Dunham will reprise her role as Hannah Horvath, alongside Allison Williams as Marnie, Jemima Kirke as Jessa, Zosia Mamet as Shoshanna and Andrew Rannells as Elijah.

The revival will revisit the characters as they approach their forties, exploring how their lives have changed since audiences last saw them navigating adulthood in New York.

Dunham will once again write, direct and executive produce the series, with Judd Apatow also returning as executive producer.
