The chaotic co-op party game Heave Ho is back, with developer Le Cartel and publisher Devolver Digital announcing that Heave Ho 2 will launch on July 16 for PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

The sequel expands on the original’s slapstick physics-based gameplay, but for the first time, Heave Ho 2 introduces online multiplayer alongside the couch co-op and versus modes that made the original a cult hit.

Each world in Heave Ho 2 introduces new mechanics and interactive gadgets, including pop guns, sauce bottles and more.

Alongside the release date announcement, a demo is launching on Steam so that you can try out the co-op mode yourself, ahead of the game’s release.

Nintendo Switch 2 players will also be able to take advantage of GameShare support, allowing the owner of a game to share it locally or online with up to 3 other players.
