‘Her Story’ Developer Reveals Follow Up Game ‘Telling Lies’

Sam Barlow, the creator of the critical darling that is Her Story has revealed their upcoming spiritual successor at E3 2019 with Telling Lies.

Much like Her Story, you’ll be sorting through a computer to uncover the secrets hidden within the video files inside of it. But this time instead of just watching one characters video for clues as you did in Her Story, you’ll be watching multiple.

The cast revealed during the PC Games Showcase was lead by Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Upgrade) who came out to talk about the game. He’ll be joined by Alexandra Shipp (X-Men: Apocalypse/Dark Phoenix, Love, Simon), Kerry Bishé (Argo, Red State, Narcos) and Angela Sarafyan (Westworld, Extremely Wicked and Shockingly Wile, The Immigrant).

In the game, you play as a character that has stolen the hard drive they’re looking through from the NSA which has roughly 10 hours of video on it. Using all of that you’ll have to find clues, search for relating files, highlight keywords and items. It’s an FMV mystery game.
