HeroQuest: Digital Edition Announced For PC In 2027 With Five-Player Multiplayer

The classic tabletop dungeon crawler HeroQuest is getting a new video game adaptation: HeroQuest: Digital Edition will come to PC in 2027.

Nomad Games developed the officially licensed adaptation, and Balor Games will publish it; the game was revealed during The MIX Fall Showcase, with a closed beta playtest planned ahead of release.

In the game, players can control the familiar classes of Barbarian, Dwarf, Elf, and Wizard as they explore dungeons and battle the forces of the evil sorcerer Zargon.

Check out the reveal trailer below.

The game supports solo play and online multiplayer for up to five players. Four players can each control a hero, while a fifth can play Zargon and set challenges for the opposing party.

Combat remains turn-based, with dice rolls, positioning, and each character’s abilities playing an important role in surviving encounters.

Players can also create their own adventures using the Quest Editor, and mod.io integration lets the community share and explore custom quests.
